We were recommended to instruct Chris Dickinson after my husband was involved in a catastrophic road traffic accident from which he suffered traumatic brain injury and post traumatic stress disorder. We had been with a Solicitor that had been assigned to us by our Insurance Company for about a year and a half, and we were not happy with the service we were receiving. A work colleague had been represented by Chris Dickinson and couldn’t praise him enough, so we contacted him.

We went to see Mr Dickinson in his London Office, and what a difference to our Solicitor that we had at that time. He listened to our story intently and then advised us that he would be willing to take on our case. He said that our Insurance Company would probably say that we could not swap over to him but this was not the case, and that he would handle all of that for us. Just as he stated, our Insurance Company said that we could not change, but he challenged that decision, they backed down and agreed he could be instructed instead. We did not have to do anything, Mr Dickinson just dealt with everything with no stress to us.

He not only wants to get you the highest settlement figure possible, but just as importantly, he really cares about you as a person and about your wellbeing. As soon as we joined him, he sent my husband to see a clinical psychologist to treat his Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and traumatic brain injury, which was basically ruining our lives. Without this treatment, I have no doubt that our marriage would have been over. The psychologist that he sent us to was at the top of her field and was just as kind and caring as he was. It was the same with every expert Mr Dickinson sent my husband to, they were always top notch and very caring people. We really felt that they understood the problems my husband was having.

Mr Dickinson always kept us informed about what was going on, and in fact our case went to court so we were in contact with him for about 3 years, we couldn’t have asked for a better Solicitor. He was always available at the end of the phone or by email if we had any concerns, and was always there for us, talking through any concerns we had. In fact we were so pleased with what he did for us, we are nominating him for the Lawyer of the Year awards.

On conclusion of my husbands case, he received a large settlement figure, which was much more than our previous Solicitor had said he would get. My husband also received the best treatment available for his Traumatic Brain Injury and no longer has Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and our lives are happy again. This is all down to Mr Dickinson and his wonderful team of medical experts and we cant thank them enough, we will be eternally grateful.
